What should I watch out for before renting an RV?
- PRIMARY INSURANCE: Be sure that the insurance coverage provided with your rental is primary. Primary insurance means that in the case of an accident, the dealership's insurance company will be responsible for paying for damages minus your chosen responsibility. Be aware that most rental dealerships provide secondary insurance. With secondary insurance coverage, in the event of an accident, your insurance will be held primarily responsible and, hence, could cause your insurance premium to rise. All of our rental insurance for motorhomes and travel trailers is primary.
- AGE OF UNIT: Like all vehicles, the older they are the more prone they are to mechanical problems. Always try to rent a newer RV. At Western Motorhome Rentals most of our units are year 2007 and newer, which should provide you with a comfortable and trouble-fire vacation.
- MILEAGE OF UNIT: Renting an RV with high mileage should be avoided. Unlike cars, RV's with high mileage are more likely to run into problems. Our rental units are low mileage units, most of which are still covered by factory warranty. RV's with over 30,000 miles are considered high mileage units.
- SERVICE SHOP: Make sure that the rental dealership has a full service shop that maintains and services its rental fleet. Western Motor Coach has 5 full service bays and trained RV technicians who can give you a carefree trip with the assurance that your rental has been inspected and serviced regularly.

With what accessories are Western Motorhome RV's equipped?
Our RV rentals are self-contained, equipped with a shower, toilet and full kitchen with a refrigerator, oven and microwave. Our motorhomes come with automotive and roof air conditioning and a generator. Our travel trailers come with roof air conditioning. A wide variety of accessories are available at additional charges. These include housekeeping kits, kitchen kits, awnings, bike racks and more.
I have never RVed before, why should I consider RVing for my next vacation?
FREEDOM, SECURITY, COMFORT, AND COST SAVINGS. An RV provides you with the comfort and convenience of a condo. We sometimes joke that it is a condo on wheels! Sometimes hotel lodging is not a convenient option as it could be an extra 30 miles from where you desire to stay. RV's are also more economical as they sleep twice the number of people than a hotel room and allow you to prepare your own meals.
How many miles do RV's get to the gallon?
In general, between 7 to 12 miles to gallon.
What size RV is most appropriate for me?
Size is dependant on the number of people, how many sleeping places you need and the mix of adults and children. Our vehicles sleep at least 4 people and a maximum of 10 people. To choose an RV most appropriate for your needs, see our individual unit floor plans and descriptions.
